    Job Description – Mechanic / Automobile Technician

    • Performing routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, tyre rotation, brake inspection, and fluid top-ups
    • Diagnosing engine, transmission, and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
    • Conducting vehicle repair work as per Maruti Suzuki’s standard repair procedures
    • Carrying out PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) on new vehicles before customer delivery
    • Maintaining workshop cleanliness and following safety protocols at all times
    • Updating job cards, parts requisitions, and service records accurately
    • Handling warranty repairs and following manufacturer guidelines for warranty claims

    Eligibility Criteria

    Educational Qualification

    Minimum 8th Pass or 10th Pass with ITI certificate in Automobile, Mechanical, or Electrical trade. Diploma holders in Automobile Engineering are preferred for senior technician roles.

    Age Limit

    Minimum age: 18 years | Maximum age: 35 years (age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per government norms)

    Experience

    Freshers with ITI qualification are welcome. Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in automobile service centres will be given preference and higher salary.
