2. Employer Verification
Before an employer can post listings, we verify:
– A valid business email address (no free email providers for commercial accounts)
– Company name and basic business details
– Agreement to our Terms of Use and Employer Standards
High-volume or enterprise accounts undergo additional manual verification.
3. Listing Content Review
We review each listing for:
– Job title accuracy — titles should reflect actual roles, not misleading clickbait
– Compensation claims — salary ranges must be realistic and not used as bait
– Location accuracy — remote, on-site, or hybrid status must be clearly and correctly stated
– Requirements — experience and qualification requirements must be proportionate and lawful
– Prohibited content — listings must not contain discriminatory language, illegal requirements, or data-harvesting traps
4. Cross-Verification
For listings that raise concerns, we:
– Search for the employer’s public business presence (website, LinkedIn, Companies House)
– Cross-reference against known fraud databases and user-reported scam alerts
– Contact the employer directly for clarification if required
5. Editorial Review
Flagged listings are reviewed by a member of our moderation team before being approved or rejected. Approval is not automatic for all listings.
6. Corrections
When inaccurate listing content is identified after publication:
– The employer is notified within 24–48 hours
– The listing is suspended pending correction
– Corrected listings are re-approved before going live
